Authentic Life Young Adults is going to Peru to share the gospel! Our church has a connection with the mission organization “Missions in the Amazon,” led by Jason Reiswig. Their mission is to develop and expand the ministry of Pastor Jorge Montero and his team in the Peruvian Amazon Jungle. Through Pastor Jorge’s ministry, over 500 Peruvians are baptized every year! In the last 15 years, Missions in the Amazon has fully integrated their program in 23 villages, launched 64 different businesses, currently helps lead 84 churches, serves 56 additional villages, and has taken over 100 groups on mission trips.

The Authentic Life Young Adults Team will fly into Iquitos, Peru, Jason will lead us as we jump on a boat, and head west to villages of which Jorge and Jason have already gained respect and trust. On our mission, much of our time and funding will go toward building projects that will support Jorge and Missions in the Amazon greatly! (This building project will most likely be building or improving a church!) We are taking 18 young adults and 2 leaders. Each team member will be raising $2,200.
